Science Intent Statement 

At Nansloe Academy, curiosity is at the very heart of our science curriculum. We nurture our children’s natural sense of awe and wonder about the world around them through our question-based approach to learning. We encourage our children to ask their own enquiry questions and provide practical opportunities to develop the key scientific skills needed to answer these. Through collaborative participation in a range of practical investigations, our children will become expert scientists who can plan and carry out their own experiments, make careful observations, take accurate measurements and report their findings in a variety of ways.
