MFL Intent Statement  

At Nansloe, we see French as a tool to develop children’s curiosity as we teach them about the wider world; ask questions about different people from different cultures; and celebrate the differences which make our world an interesting, diverse place to live in. In French lessons, we teach a progressive curriculum through fun, engaging and memorable activities and experiences which give the children opportunities to apply their learning. The Nansloe Learning Powers are at the heart of our lessons. Through them, we can promote and nurture the essential skills for learning which our children need to develop to be successful and aspirational, both in French and in later life outside of school.
